A Day Out with Thomas and Other Stuff!

In honor of Drew's upcoming 3rd birthday, yes 3rd birthday! We took him to Tweetsie Railroad to spend a Day Out with Thomas! The dream of every 3 year old little boy!!! Our friends came along for the ride, and Drew had a blast with their daughter! Check out the photos! As you can see Drew wanted no part of the family picture taking!

Drew's 3rd birthday will be this coming Wednesday! I know I've said it before, but I can't believe it!!! And his Splashing Birthday Bash will be next Saturday! I'm so excited! He is also taking swimming lessons right now and appears to be following in his dad's footsteps and is a little water bug!!!

Ethan's Birthday

Today we went to Chuck E. Cheese for my nephew Ethan's 4th Birthday! Cannot believe he is 4 already!!! Drew and Ethan are like 2 peas in a pod and always have so much fun together! I think Colt had a good time too!!!

David Cook and the Circus

It's that time of year again - Azalea Festival time...while parts of it are a pain - it's a neat weekend...Kevin got some tickets to David Cook so a group of us girls went to see him! It was lots of fun! DC was throwing guitar picks and one hit my hair and bounced off of Allison's shoulder...then landed next to some ladies' boots - I went to grab it and she almost took my hand out with her boots. It was at that time that I decided my hand was much more important than the pick!

And then yesterday we went to the circus! Drew has been talking about it since last year! And - he was a good boy all week just so he could go! It's different than when I was little...they don't have lions, tigers or bears anymore...anyone know why???

Too Long!!!

I know - I am a horrible blogger! I should really make more effort to post weekly! And the really bad part is I don't even have any good photos to post!!! I promise that will change soon!!!

At our house we have spring fever big time!!! I cannot wait for the weather to be so nice all the time! The boys are doing well! Colt is sitting unassisted - for the most part! :) He's a little round and tends to topple after a while! Drew is doing good too - he is getting too big too fast!!! And is too smart for his own good!!! We are praying that this week will be much better than last!

Lastly - please check out the button on the right side of my blog....and pray for little Stellan. I found their blog a few months ago - and it breaks my heart to think about what that family is going through right now. Stellan is so close to Colt's age - that it really hits home for me! Just keep this little guy in your prayers! Until next time....

Don't Blink...

Kenny Chesney has it all right in that song....Where does our time go? It seems to just vanish into thin air...and I must admit I am so guilty of wishing time away - especially when I am at work!

Colt is 6 months old today! I cannot believe it! Soon my baby won't be a baby anymore - he will be a big boy - just like his big brother who will be 3 in June..3??? I can't believe I will have a 3 year old! Don't get me wrong - I love every day even better than the last - and I love feeling like as my kids get older we get to know each other better - but I'm sure gonna miss all of the snuggles!

I don't have any 6 month stats for Colt yet - he goes to the doc on Monday...but I can tell you that he is big and the boy likes to eat! He has yet to turn anything away! :)

As for big brother - he is currently obsessed with firemen...He wants Daddy to take him to the firehouse, where he wants to sit in the fire truck and go down the pole...do they even have poles anymore???

I'll try to charge my camera tonight so I can post some recent pics! I really want a new camera - but I'm holding out - maybe we'll have some left over from our tax refund to make the purchase!

Colt the Jail Bird....

Okay - so it wasn't really jail....it was more like the hospital...but when you spending the night at the hospital with your 5 month old who has RSV and is in isolation - it feels like jail! After a 2 - almost 3 night stay at the new Betty H. Cameron Women's and Children's Hospital Colt is now home and on his way to better! Don't get me wrong - the new wing is really nice - even equipped with Xbox 360's in every room! But I don't want to go back EVER!!!! Thanks to everyone who sent us well wishes and prayed for us! We really appreciate it! Since I didn't have my camera - due to the fact that I had no idea a doctor's visit would turn into hospitalization - my cell phone camera had to do! So it's not the greatest picture - but it works!

Been a While

I know - it's been a while -I really do want to be a more frequent blogger....but I must say that the last few weeks have been a blur...At work - I have learned to never say that you need more to do - that need has been answered...over and over...I am proud to say that I now have plenty to do! So...I'm sure you'd rather see pics of the boys than read all about work and all that...plus I think about it enough during the week that I'd rather not get my head around all that on a Saturday night!
